Plan A Visit

We know visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating and want to help make your first experience at Duncan Memorial UMC a great one! We've included information below to help you as you plan a visit.Give us a call at 843-546-5647 if you have any specific questions that aren't covered here. We can't wait to meet you! 

We gather for Worship in the Sanctuary each week at 11:00. 

Sunday School for all ages meets at 10:00.

Duncan Memorial UMC is located at 901 Highmarket Street in Georgetown, South Carolina. You'll find convenient parking when entering our lot at the corner of Highmarket and Orange street. 

Service typically runs one hour in length. Scripture readings and traditional music from our incredible DMUMC Choir accompany a hope-filled message shared by our Pastor each Sunday.  We share Communion on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to receive the love of God through the observance of communion. 

We believe children have incredible value to God, and take special care to make them a priority here at Duncan. Sunday School for ages 3 and up meets at 10:00 each Sunday and we have a special Children's Worship during the last half of our weekly 11:00 Worship service. We will dismiss for Children's Worship during the service, as marked in each Sunday's bulletin.  

Nursery is available during Sunday School and Worship for our youngest friends. 

We know it can be difficult to leave your children in the care of new people. Rest assured, our staff and volunteers are background checked and trained. Your children will be safe, secure, and will have a blast!
